What a summer!

Hello all! It is now August and the summer has officially ended for us LifeChangers missionaries. We had a blast! It is always a privilege to see God work in our lives, as well as in the lives of others. He has done much this summer. Throughout the summer our soccer camps made an impact in the lives, hearts, and souls of those in the community. Between 60 and 70 kids came to know Jesus Christ as their own personal Lord and Savior. Wow… He is good! There were a few more young people who came to receive Christ into their hearts through the Faith Connection club that we did this summer. We also were involved in blessing others in very tangible ways like feeding the homeless, visiting with and ministering to some who struggle with mental illnesses of all kinds, and also through a house project. This summer we were able to raise some money to help out a senior citizen in the community with a room in her house that was in awful condition. We got to drywall, tape, bed, texture, paint, and clean the room all in a matter of weeks. It was lots of work, but definitely worth while. It was incredible to see the joy in the sweet lady’s face. I think that God is smiling over what took place this summer, and that after all is why we do what we do. On behalf of our LifeChangers 2006 team I want to thank everyone who took part in God’s work with us this summer. May He bless each and every one of you. I know that I am truly grateful for the experience of serving you all, as well as my King.

In Christ’s Rich Love,
